Roth became known for his role as host of the popular game show Fun House. The show ran from 1988 until 1991. When the show ended, Roth went on to host GamePro TV. He also started his own production company called Slam Dunk Productions. After the creation of this company he went on to create and host a variety of other series. J.D. Roth will host a new game show coming to ABC this fall called Opportunity Knocks.Acting
