• Iveta Benesova is a professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. She started playing tennis when she was seven years-old and is the only one in her family who plays the sport.

  Benesova has competed in both the 2004 Olympics in Athens and in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing but lost in the early rounds in both events. Although she plays both singles and doubles, Benesova has achieved her best results as a doubles player.
