At the Apple Let's Rock Event on September 9, 2008, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced the new version of iTunes, which features the iTunes Genius system for creating playlists and recommending songs. Upgrades also include the addition of NBC shows to the iTunes Store, HDTV programming and new browsing options.
