Italian Spiderman

Italian Spiderman is an Internet spoof of Italian adventure films of the 1960s and 1970s. The video series is currently being developed and shown on YouTube and MySpace by Alrugo Entertainment.

The concept originated with Dario Russo, graduate from Flinders University. The original footage was shot on 16mm film and was Russo's final project for the Screen Studies course.

After going viral online, the South Australian Film Corporation made a $9,500 grant to help with the development of a short series. While Russo says there are no plans for the series to go commercial, he's open to the idea of a movie.
