Israel Mireles was arrested on December 19, 2007, in Mexico in connection with the murder of Emily Sander.

Extradited
On June 3, 2008, Mexican authorities granted extradition of Mireles to the United States where he faces charges of capital murder, rape and sodomy. -
Emily Sander
Emily Sander was an 18-year-old student at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas.On on November 28, 2007, police in Kansas discovered a body about 50 miles from El Dorado. The the remains were identified as Sander's on December 1, 2007.
Sander was last seen alive leaving a bar in El Dorado with Israel Mireles.

Mireles is aslo charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child because he's presumed to be the father of 16-year-old Victoria Martens' unborn child. -
