  • In September of 2007, Israeli college student Ofir Tal released a prototype of a new motorized skateboard named the iSlide. The iSlide is designed to be powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and features a central wheel and computerized balance unit to help keep the user upright.
  • Stabilizing Technology

    Like the Segway Personal Transporter, the iSlide uses an on board gyroscope to create momentum and maintain balance. The user simply leans forward to accelerate and backward to decelerate.
  • Under Deveopment

    At the time of the prototype release, the iSlide design was not finalized and creator Ofir Tal was reportedly looking for investors.
