What is Island Paradise on Facebook
Meteor Games has released a game that brings the Facebook player to the ocean. Complete with the sights and sounds of the surf, which makes it a calm and fun environment. The game called Island Paradise. Island Paradise is available for the Social Networking site Facebook. The premise of the game is that after waking up on a deserted island you will be given the chance to grow your crops, locate treasure and neighbors.
Once you start your island crop you need to harvest it and plant new crops again. This will keep you earning coins. Each step you take will provide you with the experience (XP) points that you need in order to increase your level.
As your levels increase you are able to access more of the available decorations and crops.
Starting life on the Island Paradise
The first screen of the game is where you are able to customize your character.
Once you have your Character customized just as you want, then you will be taken to the island. A written guide will come up and help you get started. If you want to venture through this new land without the tutorial then you can access it any time in the game by clicking the map icon. After the guide is over you are able to start plowing, planting, harvesting gaining xp and leveling.
How to Farm on Island Paradise
To plow use the plow tool icon and use on a green area of grass.
Plowing costs coin so always leave enough for seed.
Choose the seed you want to plant from the [[shop][ cash register icon.
Plant in the plowed fields by right clicking.
Each plant has a growing time. learn when your plants will be ready for harvest.
When your plant is ready for harvesting you will right click and gather.
Sell your gathered food by clicking the "sell items" icon
You are now ready to plow plant and harvest again.
You can invite friends to be be your neighbor and you will be able to steal their mature crops.
Stealing from your neignbors
When you visit your Island Paradise neighbor's island and they have some of their crops ready to harvest, you can harvest those crops and keep them. you can steal from them up to three times a day.
If you have clicked the "put harvested items in my inventory" then the stolen crops will go directly there.
You are then able to sell these crops for more coin.
Salvaging from the Land and Water
While on your island or your neighbor's you may find treasures that have washed up onto the beach. You are able to collect those for 1 experience point and rewarded with a variety of coins for each item.
