iSight is a web camera from Apple that that was originally introduced as an external add on. It now comes built into models including the iMac and Macbook Air and is no longer available as an external accessory. The camera is known for its high image and quality and ease of use with iMovie.

The iSight features a 640×480-pixel VGA resolution through its 1/4 inch CCD image sensor, capturing 30 frames per second. It also contains a built-in microphone and three different stands to attach to a computer monitor. The iSight attaches via a Firewire connector and is compatible with Apple's iMovie and iChat software.Reviews
CNET reports great image quality and easy installation, but complains that it is not compatible with all instant messaging applications. Amazon users love the easy setup and flawless interaction with iChat and iMovie.
