  • Former New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas was hospitalized on October 23, 2008, following an alleged overdose on pain pills.     When reached for comment on his cell phone, Thomas claimed that his daughter was the one rushed to the hospital.     On October 28, 2008, new details emerged about the incident. Reportedly the officers arrived at the scene to find a 47 year old man unconscious. Police gave the person oxygen until an ambulance arrived. The incident was not labeled a suicide attempt because no note was found and the person did not have a history of depression.     On October 30, 2008, the police report of the incident was released. In the report police indicate that the victim was not breathing and oxygen was administered. The victim was then taken to White Plains Hospital.ESPN.com: Police release report from night at Thomas' house(October 30, 2008)
