The Russian-born Isaac Asimov was an extremely prolific author and professor who became one of the masters of modern science fiction. Over the course of his writing career, Asimov wrote or edited over 500 books. He is best known for his Foundation Series, as well as the short story collection I, Robot, from which his famous Three Laws of Robotics are derived.
