Irma Marquez, a home health aid worker from Yonkers, New York, filed a federal lawsuit against Yonkers police officer Wayne Simoes. Marquez suffered a broken jaw, a concussion, two black eyes, several bruises and cuts to her face and body in an incident that was captured on surveillance tape. The officer claimed she interfered with emergency medical service workers who were treating her niece.
