Brief History of Ireland

Before Ireland was the vibrant green island we know today, it was buried beneath massive amounts of ice. Very little is known about the original settlers who arrived in Ireland around 9,000 years ago, save for the monuments and artifacts they left behind. A man know today as Saint Patrick is credited with having brought Christianity to Ireland and driving out the Druid and pagan religions.
