iPod Touch

    September 2009 saw an updating of the iPod Touch range, with prices for the 8GB model set at $199, and 32GB and 64GB models available at $299 and $399 respectively. New features include Bluetooth, and for the higher end models new earphones with a built-in mic and remote control facility.

    Currently there are three models with 8GB, 32GB and 64GB storage capacity, whose official prices are $199, $299 and $399 respectively. The two more expensive models also support Bluetooth and with special earphones that includes a remote control and mic, allowing for voice recording and control of some basic features of the device without taking removing it from a pocket. The mic also allows for a voice control function for music playback, such as the ability to say "Play artist Bob Dylan" to select and play that artist's songs.

    British iPod Touch fan Nick Haley created a homemade YouTube advertisement for the device to the tune of CSS's "Music Is My Hot Hot Sex," which Apple eventually had him help remake at higher quality.
