5G (Fifth Generation)
The iPod nano 5G is a flash-based portable music player developed by Apple, created to replace the iPod Mini.
On September 9, 2009, at the Apple Let's Rock Event, Steve Jobs announced the introduction of the 5th generation nano, the iPod Nano 5G. The device features a built in video camera, microphone, speaker and FM tuner at a starting price of $149.
Versions and Size
The iPod Nano has been released in four previous versions or generations. As new versions have been released, they have gotten smaller in size and larger in memory. IPod Nano is now in its fifth generation.
First Generation (1G) was released with 1GB, 2GB and 4GB sizes,Apple: 1G and 2G iPod Nano support

Overview of the design and features of the new iPod Nano 5G which comes in 9 different colors over polished aluminum. It’s a music player that comes with built in video camera, microphone and internal speaker. The new enlarged display allows easier music list navigation to find songs with it sharper 2.2 color screen and also for shooting or watching video.
