The iPod Nano is the best-selling iPod, and fits the needs of a wide range of users. It is relatively small, comes in many colors, and current models have storage sizes of 8GB or 16GB. Recent models can also play video, and the newest models also have a built-in camera for recording video and taking photographs. Video can be up to 640 by 480 pixels and 30 frames per second. This model also features an FM radio and a "voice-over" feature which speaks the names of songs and artists, allowing control of the device without looking the screen.

Hacks for the iPod Nano allow the user to add software and games, access hard drive space, change graphics and colors, and increase security.
