The iPod nano is a flash-based portable music player developed by Apple, created to replace the iPod Mini.
On September 9, 2009, at the Apple Let's Rock Event, Steve Jobs announced the introduction of the 5th generation nano, the iPod Nano 5G. The device features a built in video camera, microphone, speaker and FM tuner at a starting price of $149.

The iPod Nano has been released in four different versions. As new versions have been released, they have gotten smaller in size and larger in memory.
