    At the September 9, 2009, Apple Let's Rock event, Steve Jobs announced the $249 160GB iPod Classic.

    The most recent version of the iPod Classic features a slimmer design and improved battery life. The Classic is available in two models, the 80 GB version and the 160 GB model. The front plate is now silver, instead of the classic white, and is made of aluminum instead of plastic.
