  • iPhone Jailbreak is a process which involves installing new software in order to enable an iPhone to run third party applications. The process circumvents Apple's security protocols, and consequently voids any support or warranty packages for the iPhone.

  • Firmware Version 2.0 Jailbreak

    Soon after Apple released the beta version of the iPhone 2.0 firmware, a group called the iPhone Dev Team cracked the software and released images of a jailbroken and unlocked iPhone.   • Bricking Possibility

    During the jailbreaking process, some users have experienced software errors which cause their iPhone to cease functioning. This is commonly referred to as "bricking". It can also occur when trying to apply an official Apple update to a phone that has already been jailbroken or unlocked.
