Apple has released the latest firmware update for its iPhone and iPod Touch. This release has been labeled iPhone Firmware 1.1.4.

- Available as standalone download or via iTunes
- Update size: 165 MB
- Always back up your iPhone by syncing it in iTunes before updating
- Some sources are reporting that this release may fail or "brick" your iPhone if it has been previously unlocked
- It had been rumored that this update would include the software developer kit (SDK), but Apple is stating the release contains only "bug fixes"
