Self declared as The Best iPhone Costume of 2009, Reko Rivera and John Savio demonstrate their iPhone Halloween Costumes in this shocking (read geeky) Apple inspired Halloween costumes.
On October 24th, 2009, Reko Rivera (left) and Jon Savio (right) demonstrated what they have declared as the 2009 Best Apple iPhone Costume ever.
Each costume is constructed from a 42" LCD Display and powered by batteries. A standard Apple iPod is connected via USB to the display while home brew iPhone software has been created to mirror the iPhone display on the large 42" screen.
This is a two year project for Reko, Riverra and their friend Bobby Hartman (not pictured). The pair plan to compete in local and online Halloween costume contests to win back the nearly $2000 that they have spent.
Apple iPhone Halloween Costume
Made from 42" displays, these iPhone costumes have made a surprising advance in iPhone development.
In spite of the electronic dance music, geeky smiles and incestuous beat bouncing, this video highlights the fact that Reko Rivera and John Savio have modified the software on the iPhone to allow a dual live image. When either Rivera or Savio press a button on the shoulder mounted iPhones, the large chest mounted display updates with a mirrored image.
