The 3rd Generation iPhone
The first generation iPhone was released on June 29, 2007 and the 2nd generation released on July 11, 2008. The 3rd generation should be officially announced during WWDC starting June 8, 2009 and is expected (rumored) to ship sometime in the summer of 2009.
