The new package will include copy-and-paste, MMS, a "Spotlight" universal search feature as well as 1,000 new APIs, allowing for peer-to-peer connectivity support, hardware accessories (such as speakers or Bluetooth) that interact with specific applications, Google Maps within applications, push notification and changes to the App Store's purchasing system. As well, specific games and applications were demoed, including an adaptation of The Sims, multiplayer music application Leaf Trombone and an application to test glucose levels for users with diabetes.

Increased Security Features
According to PC World, the most enjoyable features of the new iPhone 3.0 are its improved security measures. Copy and Paste Rumors

iTunes 8.2 Supports iPhone 3.0
On Tuesday, June 2, 2009, Apple quietly introduced iTunes version 8.2. Aside from making several accessibility improvements and fixing various bugs, the only visible feature added was support for the upcoming iPhone OS 3.0.
