The Apple iPad was released in the United States on April 3, 2010. Like the iPhone, the iPad runs downloadable applications from Apple's Apps Store. Scrabble for the iPad has several features to differentiate it from other versions of the game, like those played on the PC through Windows. Zooming in or out to get a closer view or see more of the game board is accomplished by simply touching the screen. To shuffle tiles, you shake the iPad. When selecting letters from the bottom of the screen, you place them on the game board by dragging and dropping them into place.
