Ever since the first announcement an discussion of the iPad, iPad Name Jokes started circulating the Internet.
On January 27, 2010 Apple announced their tablet computer, the iPad at the Apple Event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. The product was released to the public on April 3 of that year.
