  • Written by Robert Kirkman, Invincible is an Image Comic series which follows the adventures of Invincible, a superhero in his late teens. Invincible was first published in 2003 and was Image's attempt to create a superhero line reminiscent of Golden and Silver Age comics as opposed to the darker fare for which Image had become known.

    Invincible is Image's best-selling series since Spawn and has been picked up by Paramount for a feature-length film adaptation to be penned by Kirkman.

  • Plot

    Invincible is the teenage son of Omni-Man, an extraterrestrial superhero. Invincible (alter ego is Mark Grayson) has inherited his father's superhuman strength and flying abilities and has sworn to protect the Earth alongside the Teen Team and Guardians of the Globe. But, he has trouble adjusting to his powers, his origins and to the reality of his father's mission.
