Internal Wrangler is the debut full-length album by art rock band, Clinic. It was released on May 2, 2000. Internal Wrangler was a culmination of the sound that Clinic had been honing on earlier singles such as "Monkey on My Back" and "Cement Mixer." The album featured three singles "The Return of Evil Bill," "The Second Line" and "Distortions," none of which made it on to any Billboard charts. The band would follow their debut with their second album, Walking With Thee, in 2002 and their third album, Winchester Cathedral, in 2004.http://www.allmusic.com/artist/clinic-p16549/biography

Reviews
"There's nothing particularly "experimental" or ground-breaking about Internal Wrangler. Guitar, bass, and drums are the predominant instruments, with flourishes of organ and tinny drum samples thrown in. There are no microtonal guitar solos or squelching analog synthtones. The true beauty of Clinic is that they have, using a relatively standard rock vocabulary, constructed a truly distinctive, energetic, and magnetically appealing sound." — Matt LeMay, Pitchforkhttp://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/1513-internal-wrangler/
"Though some of the thrashier songs like "C.Q." and "T.K." and a bottom-heavy song sequence detract from the album's flow, Internal Wrangler is still a strong debut from one of England's most promising and distinctive indie bands." — Heather Phares, All Music Guidehttp://www.allmusic.com/album/r498965
