The Intel Atom Processor is the smallest processor that Intel makes, and according to them, contains the world's smallest transistors. The processor is designed to be extremely ecomonical with its power usage and is intended for use on mobile devices such as cell phones and portable media players.
On November 9, 2009, Intel launched Intel Reader, an e-book reader for visually impaired which is powered by Intel Atom.
