The 2010 Insight Bowl was held on December 28, 2010, at 10:00 p.m. EST and aired on ESPN. The game featured the Missouri Tigers from the Big 12 falling short against the Iowa Hawkeyes from the Big Ten by a score of 27-24.http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=303622294 Missouri came into the game ranked 12th in the BCS standings with a 10-2 overall record, including going 6-2 in conference games. The bowl first began in 1989 as the Copper Bowl with a game between Arizona and North Carolina State and resulted in a win for Arizona with a score of 17-10. In 2000, the bowl was moved to Phoenix for six years, where it underwent another name change to become the Insight Bowl in 2002.
