Inky and Pac-Man
Inky is one of the more complex and dangerous enemies in the game, as he is often unpredictable in his movements. His AI is determined not only from Pac-Man's position, but also from Blinky's, allowing the two to form an ambush.http://home.comcast.net/~jpittman2/pacman/pacmandossier.html#CH4_Inky He can be assigned the attributes of any of the other ghosts at anytime, sometimes charging towards Pac-Man like Blinky, or even floating away randomly, like Clyde.http://home.comcast.net/~jpittman2/pacman/pacmandossier.html#CH4_Inky
Pac-Man is able to defend himself from Inky's attacks by eating a power pellet, prompting Inky and the rest of the ghosts to turn blue, during which time they are vulnerable to being eaten. This change lasts for only a few seconds and even when eaten, Inky will return to life moments later, resuming his task of capturing Pac-Man.
Out of all of the ghosts, Inky is the only one that has remained the same since conception, although he has appeared in a number of roles, including Pac-Man: The Movie (2008), Christmas Comes to PacLand (1982) and Pac-Man World 3. Pac-Man Quotes
"I felt it would be too stressful for a human being like Pac-Man to be continually surrounded and hunted down. So I created the monsters' invasions to come in waves. They'd attack and then they'd retreat. As time went by they would regroup, attack, and disperse again. It seemed more natural than having constant attack." - Toru Iwatani, creator of Pac-Manhttp://www.webpacman.com/ghosts.html
“Pac-Man didn't occupy its place in commercial culture because consumers wanted to metaphorically imitate an insatiably hungry little yellow ball; they bought because the game was good enough to tap into genuine sources of pleasure” - Chris Greenhttp://thinkexist.com/quotation/pac-man_didn-t_occupy_its_place_in_commercial/195738.html
“Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music” - Gareth Owenhttp://thinkexist.com/quotation/computer_games_don-t_affect_kids-i_mean_if_pac/192562.html
