Infowars.com is an alternative media website founded by it's primary contributor Alex Jones. Jones, who has a daily syndicated radio show on the Genesis Communications Network (GCN), promotes the site, as well as several others in his group of websites, as premier destinations online for alternative media.

Background
The website Infowars.com was founded in 1999 as an extension of the radio show starring Alex Jones. Jones began his alternative media career in Austin, Texas in 1995. After several years of producing a local public access cable show, Jones was picked up for a radio spot with GCN and syndication began. The website features current news articles with a twist. Almost all information on the site is presented from a standpoint of criticism, touting that the New World Order is behind almost any significant government or political news event. -
Documentary Films
Also presented on the site are clips from a variety of Jones' documentary films. These films cover a variety of issues, from the 9-11 Truth Movement and the Bilderberg Group to the NAFTA Superhighway. A recurring theme of these documentaries is that it is neither the Democratic Party or Republican Party that is running the United States, but a behind-the-scenes group of elitists who pull all the strings.
