Infinity Ward is a video game developer located in Encino, California. The company is known for developing the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare being the latest installment. There are rumors that Infinity Ward has signed an exclusive deal with their owner, Activision, to develop the series past the 5th sequel. The series has seen much success for Infinity Ward, the first incarnation won numerous game of the year awards, while the sequel was the first game to go platinum for the Xbox 360 console. COD 4 has managed to sell over 7 million copies in the few months it has been out and received much critical acclaim.

The movie-like action scenes make the game very realistic, and even the trailer has warnings for its graphic violence. There are a number of scenarios shown... from a number of angles, including being lifted from a building by a helicopter. The player is immersed in the game as one character in the action.
