The Infiniti FX35 is a luxury crossover SUV which was first manufactured by the Infiniti car brand in 2003. With the advent of the FX, Infiniti brought a new focus on style instead of keeping the current look that other SUV's sported, which was closer to wagons or the standard SUV look.http://www.edmunds.com/infiniti/fx35/review.html
Infiniti FX Model Changes
From 2003 through the 2008 models, there were some changes to the FX line. The look and the specifications did not change much from 2003 to 2005 beyond which features were standard, although the side curtain airbags were added for the 2005 model year. It was in 2006 that broader changes were made to the FX model. These included upgrading to the Bose audio system, adding leather upholstery, a rearview camera, changes to the exterior, and more standard features, among other things. 2007 saw iPod functionality added and 2008, satellite radio.http://www.edmunds.com/infiniti/fx35/review.html
2009 stands out as the model year for the second-generation FX35. Some of the changes include the outward appearance being changed slightly, restyling details such as the grill, and adding fender vents. The engine was upgraded to 303 horsepower, and the 7 speed transmission was added.http://www.edmunds.com/infiniti/fx35/review.html These features are unchanged in the 2010 model.http://www.infinitiusa.com/fx/key_features
