Gameplay
In the real-time world of Infinite Undiscovery, the player selects a party of four characters from a possible pool of eighteen. Led by the young flute player Capell, focus has been placed on making use of each character's unique abilities as part of a variety of team combinations throughout the game. Though the usual group size is four, teams may comprise up to twelve members for specific battle sequences. As your team encounters enemies in the game world, the focus seamlessly transitions from the traditional RPG elements into a next generation real-time action game combat system. The game is said to make use of all five senses, so keep in mind that enemies can hear and smell you, as well as see you.

Luce Plains
- CUTSCENE: A large Dragon appears to wreak havoc as Capell tries to carry Aya to Nolaan.
- This is a "situation battle" - you'll need to avoid the Dragon's fire, as well as move through a field of enemies. Move West quickly, in a zigzag pattern, until you reach the area to Nolaan.
- TIP: In order to get the Situation Bonus; you must not take any damage before you show up in Nolaan. To get past the Dragon easily, run towards the plateau it's sitting on, and stick close to it to keep him from spitting fireballs. Then, when you get towards the end, run towards the ruins ahead and continue past until the cliff wall is on your left (as you're facing the entrance to Nolaan). Hug the wall all the way until you get to the town entrance - in my game, the Dragon completely forgot about me and didn't fire anything at me after I got past the ruins. You'll earn an extra 500 EXP for completing the Situation Bonus, as well as the On the Run achievement.
- When you arrive in Nolaan, you're approached by twins Rico and Rucha, a Beastmaster and Summoner, respectively. They mistake Capell for Sigmund due to the Emblazoned Sword he's wearing, but they think he's using "Capell" as an alias. They offer you a place to put Aya - their house.
-
Nolaan
- In the first shop on the left, you'll find a treasure chest with Covasno Lettuce in it. At the edge of the house below the house on the hill is a Wave Spot. Head up the hill to the house with the twins standing in front of it.
- CUTSCENE: The twins let Capell put Aya on a bed, and the twins' mother explains that Claridians are the guardians, and that Seruleus is the guardian of Nolaan. The Order of Chains has ransacked the town, and the twins want Capell to go to the Shrine and help their dad, the new priest. The twins join Capell to guide him through the Shrine.
- As you walk back East, Rucha will approach you and ask you to collect ingredients for her. Talk to the woman right outside the twins' house to obtain a Black Berry potion.
- The old woman in the green scarf will give you a Blue Berry potion, and the woman beside her will give you a Red Berry potion.
- The "energetic old man" will give you a Panacea. He walks about, but you can usually spot him behind the well.
- When you're ready, head down the path that leads North underneath the hill to the entrance to Dragonbone Shrine.
-
Nolaan Sidequests
- Talk to the shopkeeper and he'll ask if you can help him with the deliveries. Accept, and he'll ask you to take the Potter's Wheel to the "cranky old man". He's in the house due North of the shop, and after giving him the Potter's Wheel, he'll ask you to get him some clay in exchange for Ceramic and Hearthstone - go to Dragonbone Shrine, follow the path until you find a glowing spot (Soft Clay). Go to the secret room, and you'll find Golden Clay. Return it to the "cranky old man" to gain Ceramic for the Soft Clay and Hearthstone for the Golden Clay.
- Go back to the shopkeeper and he'll give you a Hair Clip to give to the "helpful young woman". She's standing right in front of the shop across the road, due East of the door.
- Go back to the shop, and the shopkeeper will tell you to ask around to find out who the Iron Arm Weights are for (he's lost the note with that information). They belong to the "energetic old man", so head out and find him to deliver the package.
- When you finish the quest, talk to the shopkeeper to receive some Miraculous Medicine.
- The "doleful man" will ask you to deliver a letter to a friend of his named Denton in Burgusstadt. Agree, and get the letter.
- Talk with the "forgetful dog" with Rico after you beat Prevant. Go to the Shrine and kill the Giors and Hill Gigas to gain the Ogre Hammer. Talk to the dog again to find the Old Ring. Give the ring to the "distracted man" for 500 Fol.
- Talk to Sigmund in Nolaan to obtain the Concerto Notations.
- Talk to the woman by the well - she'll want back pain medicine from Burgusstadt. When you arrive there to get it, the Shop owner will want 10 Harpy Livers. To Luce Plains to get them, then return to the Shop owner with the livers. She'll make you the pain medicine. Take it back to the old woman to get a Sacrificial Doll.

Dragonbone Shrine
- When you enter Dragonbone Shrine, you'll walk into a dark area that acts much like the Graad Woods - the mini-map becomes blurry, etc. As you walk into it, Rico will tell you to pull the lever to turn on the lights. Do so quickly - there are tons of Bloodsuckers.
- Use combos to your advantage, and wipe out the Bloodsuckers quickly. You will see a giant stone statue in the center of the room - head North from there until you run across another room with a giant stone statue - this one will have a lot of Horn Cobras to level up on.
- Head on North until you run across a Scamper, and Connect with Rico to talk with it to learn of a secret room in the temple. Then head East to a room with yet another stone statue in the center. Defeat the enemies here and head East. You'll run across Suwaria, another animal that you need to Connect to Rico to chat with. It'll tell you to find Scamper - you know where he is.
- Go tell Scamper what Suwaria said, and it'll take off to find Suwaria. Follow him, and he'll lead you to an area that's covered in monsters - defeat them.
- Talk to Scamper again, and he'll tell you that the giant rock in the wall is the secret room - examine the rock to open it. You get a Situation Bonus (+1,000 EXP) for finding the Temple's hidden room! Inside you'll find a Miraculous Medicine, Musician's Quil, and a Black Berry potion waiting to be plundered from treasure chests.
- From the secret room's entrance, continue following the path until you come to a large set of doors with red symbols - examine to trigger a cutscene.
- CUTSCENE: Capell and Rico determine that they need to lead "black wings" and "poisonous fangs" back to the doors to open them - Bats and Cobras.
- Go back and find a Bat enemy and a Cobra enemy and lead them back to the doors - to do this, use Rico's Penguin Parade skill to take command of the enemy and lead them directly to the door. The enemy will turn the red seals on the door blue. When both seals are blue, the door is open, so go through.
- CUTSCENE: The twins find their father dead, and a huge blue Ogre flanked by snakes and a Dragon confuses Capell with Sigmund (this happens a lot).
-
Dragonbone Shrine Chests
- Antidote: After the cutscene battle, head left and North until you find a path on the left.
- 550 Fol: Behind the cracked rock in the passage from the first large room.
- Black Berry Potion: In the secret room (Use Rico).
- Musician's Quill: In the secret room (Use Rico).
- Miraculous Medicine: In the secret room (Use Rico).
- Memoirs of a Mage: Use "Percipere" in the tunnel below Seruleus.
- Miraculous Medicine: Use "Percipere" in the tunnel below Seruleus.
-
Boss of Dragonbone Shrine
- BOSS: Rambert - weak against Earth Magic (250% damage), strong against Water Magic (50% damage)
- Use Rico's Penguin Parade to command the snakes to attack the Ogre. Watch out for the Ogre's Ravaging Arc attack - it deals massive damage.
- You can't attack the Dragon; so avoiding the fireballs that it spits is all you can do. To avoid them, stay in the corners on either side of the wall the Dragon faces out from, or behind one of the two pillars.
- The Ogre has no visible health meter, but it shouldn't take more than five minutes of attacking to bring him down.
- CUTSCENE: the curse on the Dragon, who turns out to be Seruleus, now broken, Seruleus gives Capell the Seruleus Amarlista, which can heal Aya. He also gives Capell the Seruleus Flute and his bond to help him as well as he can.
- You learn the "Prudentiae" and "Percipere" tunes for your flute after the cutscene. The gates on either side of Seruleus are now gone, go through them and head directly behind the dragon. Play the Percipere tune when you hear the Wave Spot to uncover a hidden path underneath the Dragon Seruleus. Head down to recover Memoir of a Mage from a treasure chest, then head down the hallway to the door at the end back into Nolaan.
- TIP: Keep your ears open for the tell-tale sign of a Wave Spot as you reach the bend in the tunnel that heads South - you'll find another treasure chest with a Miraculous Medicine inside.
-
Return to Nolaan
- You exit from the back way - the locked door East of the entrance to the Dragonbone Shrine. Head back into town and play "Percipere" near the Wave Spot at the edge of the house below the house on the hill to retrieve a Bronze Ring from the chest that appears.
- Head back into the Twins' house to trigger a cutscene.
- CUTSCENE: Capell and the twins inform the mother that her husband died, as a priest, defending Seruleus. Capell uses the Seruleus Amarlista on Aya, who recovers from her wound. The twins introduce themselves to the now revived Aya, and inform her that they wish to join the fight against the Order of the Chains. Capell reluctantly agrees to the whole ordeal.
- Treasure chests appear inside the twins' house - one contains a Graad Onion, the other is locked, so break it open at your own risk. The shop (first building on the left as you're entering town) is finally open, and they sell a few different things, so take a look and stock up on needed items. You now need to head to Castle Prevant.
-
Luce Plains Chests
- While you're in Luce Plains heading to Castle Prevant, make sure you grab the following chests:
- Memoirs of a Knight: Behind a cracked rock in the plateau Seruleus attacked you from (use Gustav or Balbagon).
- Memoirs of a Thief: Once you defeat the Dragonbone Shrine, through the Southern passage to Prevant on the top of a pillar (use Komachi).
- Memoirs of a Mercenary: Luce Plains Southeast corner, at the end of the tunnel behind the cracked rock (use Gustav or Balbagon).
- Blue Berry Potion: Before you reach Burgusstadt, at the back of the depression in the ground (use Vic or Komachi).
- 750 Fol: South of the path to Prevant (use Vic or Komachi).
