  • The flute plays an important role throughout the battle system of of Infinite Undiscovery. The game's main character, Capell, is a young flute player who ismistaken for Sigmund the Liberator, a great hero of the game world. Initially, the flute's only function is to play music. A ring of musical notes surrounds Capell and his party during the song.

    As your character progresses throughout the story, he learns new musical scores that increase his skill with his flute until he can assist the remainder of the party in battle, e.g., locate invisible treasure chests, redirect the enemy's attention, clear illusions, create barriers to block magic attacks or increase the strength of party members. The flute can also be used to earn a bit of extra money and talk to animals.
