The role-playing game Infinite Undiscovery features a Connect Ability system that allows the game's hero, Capell, to use the abilities of his fellow party members.

Connect Ability
Normally, party members are controlled by the game's AI system, healing and fighting independently. When using the Connect Ability, the player gets control over two of the skills of one of Capell's teammates. These skills are mapped to the X and Y buttons and can be used on-the-fly. Powerful combo attacks can be unleashed when the Connect Ability is used strategically, but players must time its use carefully.
