The Independence Bowl is an annual post-season college football bowl game. Held at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana, the game hosts teams from the Mountain West Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference. The 2010 Independence Bowl took place on December 27, 2010, starting at 5:00 p.m. EST. In 2009, the bowl game was played on December 28 at 5:00 p.m. EST between Texas A&M and Georgia.
