Inception is a 2010 film written and directed by Christopher Nolan that stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy and Ken Watanabe. The movie is Nolan's first big-screen effort since 2008's The Dark Knight. Inception finds Nolan once again teaming up with cinematographer Wally Pfister. The two have collaborated on numerous films, including The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, The Prestige, Memento and Insomnia.
