Ina Garten, also known as The Barefoot Contessa, Barefoot Contessa is the author of numerous cookbooks and a host on the Food Network. She is known for her use of quality ingredients and simplistic techniques.

Garten writes several magazine columns including features in Martha Stewart Living ("Entertaining is Fun"), O Magazine ("Entertaining"), and her nationally syndicated column Ask the Barefoot Contessa. Garten has also written a number of cookbooks including the best selling Barefoot Contessa Cookbook. In October 2008 she released an new book, Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics.
Television Host

Her cookbooks launched Garten's television career and the Food Network program The Barefoot Contessa was born.

Her original shop has closed but Garten has debut a line of upscale, dry goods (including brownie mix, cupcake mix and marinades.
Some new product she has added are French Citrus, hand and home keeping all-natural products Coconut Macaroon Mix, Red Velvet Cupcakes Mix and Tuscan Marinade.
