About Demetri Martin
Demetri Martin is a stand-up comedian and Daily Show correspondent. He is the creator of the Daily Show's "Trendspotting" segments, reporting on such trends as hookahs, guerilla marketing, MySpace and the Xbox 360.Martin recorded a stand-up CD, called These Are Jokes, which was released on September 26, 2006. He has cited comedian Steven Wright as an influence. Both use deadpan, absurdist one-liners in their routines.
Martin appeared in the season finale of HBO show Flight of the Conchords. He played a keytar player named Demetri.
