The 2010 Illinois State Fair was held from August 13 through August 22, 2010. Several live entertainment events were featured at the fair, including:

The 2010 fair was open from 7:00 am to 12 midnight each day. Admission tickets for adults were $5 for adults over the age of 13. Children aged 5 to 12 were charged $2 to enter the fair and senior citizens over 60 were charged $2. Children under five were admitted for free. Foods featured included such entrees and desserts as homemade fudge, gelato, pizza in a cone, chocolate covered bacon, and a snack called the “Meat Eater,” which was a bratwurst wrapped in cheese, wrapped in a burger, wrapped in bacon, and served on a bun.
