Game Info
Ikaruga is a popular top-down shooter developed by Treasure Co., the creator of another notable shooter, Radiant Silvergun. Ikaruga was originally released in Japanese arcades in 2001, and was subsequently ported to the Dreamcast in 2002 and then the GameCube in 2003. Ikaruga is a highly difficult game, featuring fast gameplay, menacing bosses and requires quick reflexes and memorization. The core aspect of the gameplay in Ikaruga centers around the use of the "polarity system," which allows you switch you ship's color to either black or white, thereby absorbing all same-color fire and causing extra damage to the opposing color. -
