Ukrainian policeman Ihor Kinal was fatally injured during Serbian riots in Mitrovica, Kosovo on March 17, 2008. Serbia is being blamed by the United Nations for "orchestrating" the riots following the February 17, 2008 vote for independence by Kosovo. Kinal died after being operated on for his wounds.
