Igor Wolf was carjacked at gunpoint by Berlin school gunman Tim Kretschmer. Forced to drive the shooter away from the scene of the German school shooting, Wolf says that Kretschmer told him that he had shot and killed 15 people in Winnenden, Germany, on March 11, 2009, because "it was fun." The gunmen asked Wolf whether he was driving him to another school, though Wolf distracted him by changing the subject. Wolf managed to veer off the road in Wendlingen and escape without injury. Kretschmer continued to kill two more victims before killing himself as police closed in on his location.
