  • College Football Career

    Prior to playing professionally, Olshansky played college football for the Oregon Ducks in the NCAA. He had a standout career, earning All-Pac-10 honors and the Joe Schaffeld Trophy, as the team's top defensive lineman. After his junior season in college, Olshansky declared eligible for the NFL draft.
  • NFL Career

    Olshansky was selected 35th overall in the 2004 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers. He made his professional debut that same year, starting in and playing in all 16 regular season games and recording 39 tackles, one sack and two pass deflections. His statistically best season came in 2007, when he totaled 49 tackles, 3.5 sacks, three pass deflections and one interception.
