Case Against Ramos
On February 17, 2007, Ramos was working near El Paso, Texas, when he responded to a request for backup from fellow agent Jose Compean. Compean had seen a van, being driven by Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila of Mexico, and carrying 800 pounds of marijuana.
