Iggy is a Brussels Griffon terrier adopted by Ellen DeGeneres from the Mutts and Moms pet adoption agency. DeGeneres later gave the dog to her hairdresser, Cheryl Marks, citing that Iggy was not able to cohabitate with her cats.ABC News: DeGeneres Doggie Drama Continues (October 17, 2007) After learning that DeGeneres had given Iggy to a third party, Mutts and Moms took Iggy away from the Marks family.

An acquaintance of DeGeneres has said that Iggy was not the first dog she has passed on to a third party.
