Judges' Comments
- Randy: Thought it was the best she ever sounded. Even better than her audition. He called her "blazing hot".
- Paula: Called her fantastic. Truly believed that she could come from behind to win the competition.
- Simon: Thought the end of the song wasn't as great as the beginning, but he did say that it was the best performance at that point in the evening (three people in).

- Syesha pulls out the baby cry again -- a little desperate? She sings If I Were Your Woman, a Gladys Knight song from well before 1987 -- have to check out who did a cover. (Stephanie Mills, apparently.) It's one of those big R&B/pop ballads that she can diva out on, and as the last diva standing (depending on whether you class Carly as a diva), she's milking the niche. Seemed pretty accomplished, just not to my taste at all. I'm reminded of what Charlie said in his coaching remarks online about vocal runs being the equivalent of triple axels in figure skating. It is to Randy's taste; he thinks it was stellar and her best yet. Paula thinks it was her "dark horse" moment. Simon has a few reservations but thinks it was best of the night.
