The documentary, If I Were King first aired on MTV April 9, 2008. This show celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Sean John Clothing Line created by Diddy. This series explores the reality of the fashion industry in this behind the scenes look. Viewers are able to get a glimpse into the daily life of Diddy and explore what really goes into running a business in such a high-stakes industry.
Sean "Diddy" Combs created the Sean John Clothing Line in 1998. The clothing has a hip-hop, urban style which suited to reflect the personality of Diddy himself. Unforgivable is a popular men's cologne also from the Sean John line. There is also a women’s collection and eyewear collection. In 2003 Diddy was accused of using a sweatshop environment to produce his fashion but he denied these claims.
Sean Combs, also known as Diddy was born November 4, 1969. He is known to the world as a producer, rapper, actor, and even a clothing designer. He is the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment. He has worked with and produced albums for the late Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige among others. He is also known as a performer himself and has appeared in films such as the 2008 remake of A Raisin in the Sun. If Diddy weren’t busy enough, he also has his Sean John clothing line.
