• American Idol Season 7's Idol Gives Back charity drive featured a variety of celebrity presentations and performances including former American Idols including Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Fantasia and Elliot Yamin.

  The special event was taped on April 6, 2008 at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, raised money through phone-in and internet donations on behalf of six charities: The Children's Defense Fund, The Global Fund, Make It Right, Malaria No More, Save The Children and The Children's Health Fund.
