'The second annual American Idol Idol Gives Back charity drive aired on April 9, 2008 to raise money for six charities: The Children's Defense Fund, The Global Fund, Make It Right, Malaria No More, Save The Children and The Children's Health Fund.
In addition to the regular cast, various celebrities and musical artists were featured, including Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Fergie, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood and Snoop Dogg.
